Airway-Focused Orthodontics

At Hadar Dental, we take a comprehensive approach to orthodontic care that considers more than just the alignment of the teeth. Dr. Hadar and Dr. Antebi-Hadar have completed mini-residency training in interceptive growth and development, as well as fixed and removable orthodontic appliance therapy.

Our airway-focused approach considers the relationship between dental development, jaw growth, oral function, and airway health. Depending on the individual patient, treatment may involve orthodontic appliances, Invisalign®/clear aligner therapy, or other growth-guidance approaches.

Supporting Healthy Growth & Development

Early evaluation can be an important part of understanding a child’s dental and facial development. When appropriate, interceptive orthodontic treatment may help guide developing teeth and jaws and address certain functional or structural concerns.

Our goal is to provide individualized care based on each patient’s growth, development, and unique needs.

Myofunctional Therapy

Airway and orthodontic care can sometimes be complemented by myofunctional therapy, which focuses on the muscles and functions of the mouth, tongue, lips, and face.

When appropriate, we may recommend working with a qualified myofunctional therapist as part of a patient’s comprehensive care.
