Your First Visit
We’re excited to welcome you to Hadar Dental! Your first visit is an opportunity for us to get to know you, understand your dental concerns, and develop a personalized plan for your oral health.
During your initial appointment, we will review your dental and medical history, perform a comprehensive evaluation, discuss any findings, and explain your recommended treatment options. In some cases, treatment may be completed during your first visit. If additional time is needed due to the complexity of your treatment or medical history, we will schedule a follow-up appointment to ensure you receive the care and attention you deserve.
What to Bring to Your First Appointment
To help make your visit as smooth and efficient as possible, please bring:
- Referral paperwork and any applicable dental records or X-rays
- A current list of medications you are taking
- Dental insurance information and any completed insurance forms, if applicable
Providing this information in advance helps our team better understand your needs and assist with insurance claims and treatment planning.
Important Information for Parents & Patients
Patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at their consultation appointment.
Please let our team know before your appointment if you have any medical conditions or take medications that may affect your dental care. This includes conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, a history of rheumatic fever, or any other significant medical concerns.
Please also inform us if you take medications such as aspirin, blood thinners, heart medications, or anticoagulants, or if you have been advised by your physician to take antibiotics before dental treatment or cleanings.
Our goal is to make sure your visit is safe, comfortable, and tailored to your individual needs.
X-Rays & Dental Records
If you have had recent dental X-rays taken by another dental office, please ask your previous dentist to send them to Hadar Dental before your appointment. Whenever possible, we recommend providing X-rays taken within the past 6 months.
If your previous office is unable to send them to us in time, you may request a copy and bring them with you to your appointment.
If additional X-rays are needed, we can take them conveniently in our office as part of your evaluation.
We’re Here to Help
If you have questions about what to bring or whether you need to provide additional medical or dental information, please don’t hesitate to contact our office. Our team is happy to help you prepare for your first visit and make your experience at Hadar Dental as easy and comfortable as possible.
